Purity Ring is a name that has been reverberating throughout the indie electronic world, and it’s not a difficult task to see why. Their debut album, Shrines, is absolutely enthralling, beginning to end, with more than a few notable tracks (“Ungirthed”, “Amenamy”, “Fineshrine” and “Obedear” to name a couple). Philadelphia has been showing the Canadian duo some serious love too, selling out First Unitarian Church twice this Summer, and Union Transfer just two weeks ago. We managed to make it to their second Church appearance, and Union Transfer, at which they actually dropped this new track I have for you today. It’s a little more upbeat than what I’m used to with these two, but that’s certainly not a bad thing, because they still easily crushed this new single, “Grammy”. Enjoy!
